Christa Klus-Neufanger has been working as a freelance garden and nature journalist for book publishers, magazines and online media since 2001. She holds a degree in forestry with a focus on ecology and landscape planning. After graduating, she worked in a tree nursery, for the Bavarian Forestry Commission and for various non-fiction publishers.
Christa Klus-Neufanger lives with her family in Munich and is the happy owner of a garden in the middle of the big city. Her terrier Ferdi "helps" her with the gardening, and he finds and digs up almost every flower bulb that she has previously buried in the ground.
